1.  The Scriptures - We believe that the Bible is the Word of God; that it was written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit so that their writings, in the original, were supernaturally and verbally inspired and free from error, as no other writings have ever been or ever will be.  The Bible consists of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments and is the complete and final revelation of the will of God to man, and is the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.  (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:19, 21; John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12; I Corinthians 2:12-13).

2.  The Trinity and Godhead - We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as the Trinity and as one God.  We believe God to be eternally self-existent, absolutely holy, omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent.  We believe that each Person of the Godhead has precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections as the others.

a.  God the Father - We believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, boundless in love, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power.  We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ, His Son (I Corinthians 8:6; Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3; Ephesians 4:3-6; Matthew 28:19; Psalms 90:1-2).

b.  God the Son - We believe Jesus Christ is God the Son, and preexistent with the Father (Colossians 2:9-10; John 1:1-3, 14; Hebrews 1:8-9; Titus 2:13). We believe that He took on human flesh (Philippians 2:5-11) and was born of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:35). He is sinless in His nature and life (I Peter 2:21-23), and infallible in His teaching. We believe that Jesus Christ has made atonement for the sins of the world by His substitutionary death on the cross (Isaiah 53:6; II Corinthians 5:21; I Peter 2:24).  We believe in His bodily resurrection (John 20:19-20; I Corinthians 15:3-8) and His ascension into Heaven (Acts 1:9-11). We believe in His perpetual intercession for the believer (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25; John 11:41-42).  We believe that the promise of His imminent return is “The Blessed Hope” of the believer; namely, His personal, premillennial, and pretribulational return to rapture His church according to Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 1:9-10; 4:13-18; 5:5-9; I Corinthians 1:7; 15:51-58; Philippians 3:20; James 5:8-9; Revelation 3:10. We believe that the promise of His glorious Second Advent or coming includes His return with His saints to set up His millennial reign (Matthew 24:29-31; Revelation 1:7; 19:11 – 20:6).

c.  God The Holy Spirit - We believe in the deity and personality of the Holy Spirit (Acts 5:3-4). We believe that He came from God to convince and convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment (John 16:8-11); and to regenerate (John 3:5), sanctify (I Corinthians 6:11), indwell (Romans 5:5; 8:9; Acts 11:16-17; I Corinthians 3:16; 6:19-20), comfort (John 14:16, 26; 15:26), and empower (Acts 1:8) those who believe in Jesus Christ  (Ephesians 1:13-14).

3.  Man - We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also that spiritual death which is separation from God.  We believe that all human beings are born with a sinful nature (Genesis 1:27; Isaiah 53:6; Romans 1:20; 2:14-15; 3:23; 5:12-19; Ephesians 2:1-3).

4.  Satan - We believe in the reality and personality of Satan.  He is the unholy god of this age, author of all powers of darkness and sin, and is destined to the judgment of an eternal justice in the lake of fire  (Matthew 13:39; Luke 10:18; 11:18; II Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 2:2; II Timothy 2:26; Revelation 20:10).

5.  Salvation - We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice (Isaiah 53:6; I Peter 2:24; II Corinthians 5:21). We believe that all who repent of their sins and by faith receive Him as their personal Savior are justified on the basis of His blood shed on Calvary and His resurrection from the dead (Romans 5:1). Those who trust Him are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God (Ephesians 1:13-14). We believe that once a person is born again, he is commanded to be baptized by immersion under the authority of a local, New Testament Church, as a testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 2:41; 8:35-38; Matthew 28:18-20). (John 3:3-6, 16; 10:28-29; Acts 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-10; I Timothy 2:5-6; I Peter 1:18-23).

6.  Security of the Believer - We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure.  The security of the believer is not dependent upon his circumstances, emotional experiences, or strength; but it is dependent on the finished work of Jesus Christ (Matthew 25:46; John 3:15, 16, 18, 36; 4:14; 5:24, 28-29; 6:35, 37, 40, 44, 53-54, 58; 10:27-30; 14:16; 17:11-12; Acts 13:39; Romans 5:1; 6:23; 8:1, 35-39; II Timothy 2:11-13; Revelation 22:5).

7.  Justification - We believe that justification is the judicial act of God whereby He declares us to be righteous through Jesus Christ. Justification includes the pardon of sin and the imputing of God’s righteousness. That is bestowed, not in consideration of any works of righteousness that we have done, but solely through faith in the Redeemer’s blood (Isaiah 53:11; Zechariah 13:1; Acts 13:30; Romans 5:1; II Corinthians 5:18-21; Titus 3:5).

8.  Sanctification - We believe that sanctification is the divine setting apart of the believer unto God. The work of sanctification is three-fold: first, it is an eternal act of God based upon the redemption of Christ. This establishes the believer in a position of holiness at the moment of salvation. Secondly, sanctification is a continuing process in the saint as the Holy Spirit applies the Word of God to his life. Thirdly, the final accomplishment of this process is at the Lord’s return (John 17:17; I Corinthians 1:30; II Corinthians 3:18; Ephesians 5:25-26; I Thessalonians 4:3-4; 5:23-24, 27; Hebrews 3:1; 10:10-14; I John 3:2).

9.  Last Things - We believe in the bodily resurrection of all the dead, the saved to eternal life and blessedness in Heaven, and the unsaved to eternal, conscious suffering and torment in the Lake of Fire (Matthew 25:46; John 5:28-29; 14:2; Revelation 20:14-15; 21:4, 7-8).

10. Current Trends in Theology - As a fundamental group of believers, we take our stand against the current trends that lead to discrediting the Bible and undermining the fundamentals of the Faith.  We take a separatist stand against Neo-Orthodoxy, New Evangelicalism, the Ecumenical movement, and the modern Charismatic movement.  This includes speaking in tongues, faith healing, snake handling, receiving extra-Biblical revelation, and being slain in the spirit.  We believe the worship of our Lord should be done in a decent and orderly manner (I Corinthians 13:8-10; 14:40; Revelation 22:18-19).
